Substitute Teachers

2020-2021 Substitute Teachers

Substitute teachers supervise students and implement lesson plans written by classroom teachers to support student learning.

Substitute teacher must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED as well as a current and cleared background check.

All new substitute teachers are required to complete the following application.  Click here for application.

A new substitute is one who did not work for the Woodlawn School District during previous school years.  All paperwork is required and must be provided to the central office along with clearance from the central office to be placed on the substitute list for the current year.

New Substitute Application Requirements

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age
  • Read application carefully to determine required check or money order requirements for background check processing.  
  • Fill out an application and return it to the Woodlawn Central Office at 6760 Hwy 63 Rison, AR  71665 attention Virgina Scallion.
  • Provide a copy of the Driver’s License and Social Security Card

Substitute information is maintained in all administrative offices.
